About the Process:

I usually work on an abstract painting alongside an industrial painting. My abstracts are a form of stress relief from the pressure of capturing the intricate details in my realism work. Using color and mark making my abstract paintings focus on feelings and concepts. Some of the abstracts are a direct response to the industrial painting and some are reflections of the events shaping my life at the time.
